Jacob Elordi, an Actor originally from Brisbane, Australia, is currently caught up in uncertainty regarding his attendance at the upcoming Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards due to recent allegations. 

The awards ceremony is scheduled for February 10 at the Home of the Arts on the Gold Coast, where Elordi is in the running for the Best Supporting Actor Award for his performance in the black comedy "Saltburn."

Jacob Elordi, known for his role in the HBO series "Euphoria," is reportedly under investigation following allegations of assaulting Joshua Fox, a staffer at KIIS FM. The actor from "Saltburn" recently traveled to his native Australia to participate in the forthcoming Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards.

Elordi was staying at the Clovelly Hotel when he encountered a KIIS FM staffer. The employee approached Elordi with a series of questions, leading to a confrontation between the two. Reports suggest that Elordi became incensed by Fox's line of questioning, which escalated into the altercation in question.

A spokesperson for the New South Wales Police confirmed to news.com.au that officers from the Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are looking into the alleged assault incident, which reportedly occurred outside a hotel in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. 

The police were alerted around 3:30 pm on February 3 regarding an allegation that a 26-year-old man assaulted a 32-year-old man. According to the police statement, the alleged victim, identified as Fox, did not sustain any injuries.

Elordi recently made headlines for hosting an episode of "Saturday Night Live" alongside Renee Rapp on January 20 and for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in the 2023 biopic "Priscilla," with Cailee Spaeny playing the title role. The film, based on the memoir "Elvis and Me," was directed and penned by Sofia Coppola.
