IISER Admission Application Fees 2024
When you apply for the IISER Aptitude Test starting April 1, 2024, you'll need to pay an application fee along with your form. Here's how much it costs:
- If you're applying and belong to the General, EWS (Economically Weaker Sections), OBC (Other Backward Classes), or OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) categories, you'll pay Rs 2,000.
- There's a special festive offer: If you are a person with disabilities (PwD), a Kashmiri Migrant (KM), or belong to the SC (Scheduled Caste)/ST (Scheduled Tribe) category, your fee is Rs 1,000.
Remember, once you pay the fee, you can't get it back—it's non-refundable.
IISER Application Form 2024: Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF)
The Seat Acceptance Fee is to be paid only after an offer of admission has been made to the candidate. The SAF will have to be paid as per the category entered by the candidate in the application.
- Rs. 35,000/- (Rs. 25,000/- + Rs. 10,000/- (Non refundable administrative fee)) for General/EWS/OBC/OBC-NCL/PwD/KM categories.
- Rs. 17,500/- (Rs. 12,500/- + Rs. 5000/- (Non refundable administrative fee)) for SC/ST categories.
Failure to deposit the SAF within the stipulated time will result in the cancellation of the offer. Furthermore, you will not be considered in any subsequent rounds of seat allotment during admission 2024.
Once you register in your allotted IISER, this amount will be adjusted against your first semester fee.

Eligibility criteria for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2024 are as follows:
1. Candidates must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination in the science stream.
2. The qualifying examination must have been passed in either 2022, 2023, or 2024.
3. General category candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
4. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons With Disabilities (PwD) categories must have scored a minimum of 55% marks to be eligible for IAT 2024.
