NPCIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) degree or a 5-year Integrated M.Tech with at least 60% cumulative marks in one of the specified 6 engineering fields from a University or Institute recognized by AICTE/UGC. A minimum of 60% marks is determined based on the respective university's ordinances.

GATE Score:

Candidates need to have a valid GATE score from 2022, 2023, or 2024 in the engineering discipline corresponding to their degree.

Degree Specializations:

The acceptable degree specializations for each advertised discipline are as detailed:

Mechanical: Includes Mechanical and Production Engineering.
Chemical: Chemical and Electro-Chemical Engineering.
Electrical: Electrical, and Electrical & Electronics.
Electronics: Includes Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Controls, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics, and Electronics System Engineering.
Instrumentation: Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Controls, Instrumentation & Electronics, and Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
Civil: Civil Engineering only.

Note: Candidates with degrees in closely related specializations must have a valid GATE score in the discipline they are applying under.

Integrated M.Tech Candidates:

Applicants who have completed a 5-year integrated course leading to an M.Tech with at least 60% marks in the relevant field may apply, provided they meet the other requirements.

Specific Conditions:

Only the disciplines mentioned above will be considered. Equivalent courses or disciplines will not be accepted.

Candidates in the final year or awaiting final results in 2024, who meet the other criteria, may apply. If selected, they must provide proof of degree completion and a minimum of 60% marks by 30th November 2024.

NPCIL Executive Trainee Interview Date & Location

Interview Dates: From June 3rd to June 15th, 2024.

Locations for Interviews:

Narora Atomic Power Station (NAPS), Uttar Pradesh
Madras Atomic Power Station (MAPS), Tamil Nadu
Kaiga Generating Station (KGS), Karnataka

Candidates should select their preferred interview location when filling out the online application. However, NPCIL has the final say on assigning the date and place for the interview. This decision will be communicated to the candidates, and no changes or requests regarding this decision will be considered.

Language for Personal Interview

Candidates appearing for interview will have choice of answering the questions either in Hindi or English.

NPCIL Executive Trainee Salary 2024

During Training:

Monthly Stipend: Rs. 55,000/-
One-time Book Allowance: Rs. 18,000/-
Compulsory Accommodation and Food: Provided by NPCIL in designated accommodation.

Upon successful completion of training, the trainee will be appointed as a Scientific Officer/C in Group-A with the following pay scale and benefits:

Grade: Scientific Officer/C
Basic Pay in Pay Matrix: Rs. 56,100/-
Dearness Allowance (DA): 50% of the basic pay in the pay matrix as of 01.01.2024, based on the rates periodically notified by the Government of India.

NPCIL Executive Trainee General Instructions

Eligibility: Only Indian Nationals over 18 can apply. Ensure you meet the criteria before applying.

Application Process: Check the FAQs if you have questions. Educational qualifications must be from recognized institutions. Final year students should carry their ID for interviews. NPCIL employees must send their application through proper channels. Pay your application fee by 30/04/2024 to receive your interview call letter.

Verification and Documents:

Your appointment is provisional, pending verification of caste/category and other documents. False documents can lead to termination.
The category you apply under cannot be changed later. Bring original and self-attested copies of documents to the interview.
Appointment is also subject to character and antecedent verification.
Interview and Expenses: If you’re ineligible or lack necessary documents, you won’t be interviewed or reimbursed for travel.
Communication: The email and phone number provided should be active for a year. All communication will be through email.

Bond:

Selected candidates are required to execute an agreement, a personal indemnity bond for Rs.6,78,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Seventy Eight Thousand Only) and a service bond to serve NPCIL for at least three years after successful completion of training. No third party surety is required. Bond amount comprises of 12 months Stipend i.e. Rs.55,000 X 12 plus One Time Book Allowance i.e. Rs.18,000/-.
