2. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

   • Pay Level: 8
   • Salary: ₹47,600 - ₹1,51,100

3. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

   • Pay Level: 7

How to Apply for BHU School Teacher Recruitment

1. Online Application: Applicants must submit their application through the BHU Recruitment and Assessment Cell (RAC) portal at BHU RAC.

• Experience:
  • Various combinations of service as Principal, Vice-Principal, PGT, or TGT in recognized schools or government institutions.

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

• Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in relevant subject with at least 50% marks
  • B.Ed or equivalent from an NCTE-approved institution
  • Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English (or Sanskrit for SRSV)
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years (relaxable as per rules)

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject
  • B.Ed or equivalent from an NCTE-approved institution
  • Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)
  • Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English (or Sanskrit for SRSV)
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (relaxable as per rules)

Primary Teacher (PRT)

• Qualifications:
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent
  • Qualified in CTET conducted by CBSE
  • Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English (or Sanskrit for SRSV)
• Age Limit: Maximum 30 years (relaxable as per rules)

General Instructions
