Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

• A graduate degree from a recognized university in any discipline, or professional qualifications such as CA/ICWA/CAIIB/Diploma in Cooperative Business Management.
• Proficiency in the local language, Tamil .

Desirable Qualifications

Preferred additional qualifications include:

• Diplomas or certifications in fields such as Computer Applications, Cyber Laws, Labour Laws, Finance, Accountancy, or Law .

Experience Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

• At least 8 years of experience in the financial sector at a middle or senior management level, preferably in a bank or credit society.
• A minimum of 25 years of overall banking experience, with at least 20 years served in an officer cadre in a bank or credit society .

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this role, candidates must:

• Currently hold a position at the level of Chief General Manager (Scale VIII) or higher in Public Sector Banks or Repco Bank.
• Be between the ages of 54 and 58 as of May 1, 2024.
• Have a clean disciplinary record with no pending or contemplated actions.
• Exhibit proven management, leadership, and innovative skills.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge and experience in all types of banking activities .

Compensation

The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary in the range of Rs. 2,05,400 to Rs. 2,24,400, along with all usual admissible allowances and perquisites .
