APSC Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The educational qualification and age limit required for APSC recruitment are detailed below.

Qualification

• English: Master’s Degree in English/ELT
• Assamese: Master’s Degree in Assamese
• Mathematics: Master’s Degree in Mathematics
• Science: Master’s Degree in Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology/Life Science/Bio Science
• Social Science: Master’s Degree in Geography/History/Political Science/Economics/Sociology
• Physical Education: Master’s Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.)
• Foundation of Education (F.E): Master’s Degree in Science/Humanities/Social science (Preferably in Psychology/Sociology/Economics) OR M.A. in Education
• Art Education: Post Graduate Degree in Fine Arts (MFA) or Visual Art (MVA)

• Lecturer: 21-38 years

Age Relaxation:

• OBC/MOBC candidates: 03 years
• SC/ST candidates: 05 years
• PwBD candidates: 10 years

• To avail of the relaxation of the application fee prescribed for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/BPL, candidates must produce a certificate of the claimed category issued by the competent authority.
• Applications without the prescribed fee will not be considered and will be summarily rejected. No representation shall be entertained against such rejection.
• Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Assam PSC Selection Process 2024

The selection process for APSC Recruitment 2024 includes:

• Screening/Written test and interview/viva voce.
• Candidates are required to produce identity proofs like a PAN Card, Driving Licence, Passport, Current ID Card issued by an Educational Institution, Voter ID Card, Aadhaar Card (where applicable), and Voice at the time of Screening/Written Test/ interview.
