AAI Junior Executive Recruitment Age Limit

a) AGE LIMIT: The maximum age for applicants is 27 years as of 01/05/2024.

b) AGE RELAXATION:

(i) The upper age limit is extended by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. The OBC vacancies are specifically for those from the Non-Creamy Layer as defined by the Government of India.

(ii) Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are eligible for an upper age limit relaxation of 10 years for positions deemed suitable for their specific disability category. This is contingent upon the presentation of a valid disability certificate issued by a competent authority on or before 01.05.2024.

(iii) Ex-Servicemen are granted age relaxation as per the prevailing Government of India regulations.

(iv) AAI employees who are in regular service and have successfully completed their probation period are eligible for an upper age limit relaxation of up to 10 years.

(v) Only the date of birth listed on the candidate's Matriculation/Secondary Examination certificate will be accepted. Requests to alter the date of birth will not be entertained post submission.

AAI Junior Executive Salary

AAI Junior Executive Salary Structure (Industrial DA Pattern)

Position: Junior Executive [Group-B: E-1 level] | Scale: Rs.40,000-3%-140,000

Additional Benefits:

Employees will receive, in addition to their base salary, Dearness Allowance, an annual increase @ 3% of the base pay, perks amounting to 35% of the base pay, House Rent Allowance, and other advantages. These additional benefits include contributions to Provident Fund, gratuity, various social security schemes, healthcare facilities, etc., as per the regulations of AAI.

AAI Junior Executive Salary: The total annual compensation package is estimated to be around Rs. 13 lakhs.

Note on Pay Protection:

Candidates transferring from other Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), State Public Sector Units (PSUs), or Government Departments through the proper channels and joining AAI will be eligible for pay protection. This adjustment will align with the guidelines set forth by the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE).

AAI Junior Executive Selection Process

a) All eligibility criteria including age will be assessed as of May 1, 2024.

b) Candidates must have appeared for the GATE-2024 exam in the appropriate disciplines and possess the requisite engineering degree/MCA. Only those who apply through the AAI portal and meet all eligibility criteria will proceed in the selection process.

c) Candidates will be shortlisted based on their application details for an Application Verification stage. The schedule for this will be communicated in due course.

d) The verification process will involve checking the original documents of candidates to validate their eligibility.

e) Shortlisted candidates for Application Verification will be notified on the AAI website, and call letters will be sent to their registered email addresses.

f) At the time of Application Verification, candidates must present their original documents along with a proof of identity and a set of self-attested photocopies. Failure to verify identity or present required documents will result in disqualification.

g) Candidates currently employed in the government or public sectors must provide a "No Objection Certificate" from their employer at the time of verification, without which their candidacy will not be considered.

h) Absence during the Application Verification process or failure to produce original documents will lead to rejection of the candidacy.

i) Provisional selections will be made based on GATE scores, following successful Application Verification and fulfillment of all other eligibility criteria.

j) In the event of a tie in GATE scores, age and then marks in the qualifying degree will be used as tie-breakers.

k) Reserved category candidates selected under open category criteria will be treated as general category candidates but will retain their original category status.

l) The names of provisionally selected candidates will be posted on the AAI website, and offer letters will be sent via email.

m) Selected candidates, especially for the Junior Executive (Electronics) post, will undergo approximately six months of training, during which they will receive their basic pay and other allowances. They will also need to sign a bond committing to serve AAI for at least three years post-training.

n) Selection is provisional pending verification of eligibility and other criteria, including medical fitness and character antecedents.

o) Final appointments are contingent upon further validation of relevant documents and medical fitness, ensuring candidates' suitability for the position.
