HP PAT Admission Process

The process for admission to the 1st year of diploma courses in Polytechnics for the academic session 2024-25 is outlined as follows:

Merit Basis: Admission will be primarily based on the merit of marks obtained in the Polytechnic Admission Test 2024 (PAT-2024), which is conducted by the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala.

Qualifying Marks:

• General Category: Candidates must secure at least 15% marks.
• Reserved Categories: Candidates must secure at least 10% marks.

Eligibility for Counselling:

Candidates who did not apply for PAT-2024 can still apply for the 2nd round of online counselling and subsequent rounds of centralized offline counselling as non-PAT candidates.
