The Centre for Research in Environmental Law (CREL), DNLU Jabalpur, in collaboration with Gujarat Maritime University (GMU) and Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), invites submissions for the 1st National Article Writing Competition 2026. The competition encourages innovative legal research on environmental law, sustainability, climate justice, and related interdisciplinary issues.

About the Competition

The competition seeks to promote high-quality legal scholarship on emerging environmental and climate issues through critical analysis and interdisciplinary research. Participants will have an opportunity to showcase their writing skills while engaging with contemporary global legal challenges.

• Investor–State Arbitration vs. Environmental Regulation.

Submission Guidelines

• Articles must be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
• Include an abstract of up to 250 words.
• Only one submission per participant.
• Maximum two co-authors are permitted.
• Word limit: 3,000 words (excluding footnotes).
• The work must be original and unpublished.
• The manuscript should not be submitted elsewhere simultaneously.
