Lakhanpur in J&K Selected for PM SVANidhi Street Food Hub

In a major boost for street vendors and local tourism, Lakhanpur in Kathua district, Jammu & Kashmir, has been selected among the first towns in India for the development of a Street Food Hub under the Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) initiative.

  • The project was announced by Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh.
  • The hub will promote Dogra cuisine, boost tourism, and provide sustainable livelihoods.

Indian Navy Commissions INS Mahendragiri
