About the Role

Monroe Biomedical Research is hiring a Data Entry Specialist to support U.S.-based clinical research operations from India. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for candidates who have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an interest in healthcare or clinical research.

The selected candidate will review clinical research data within the CRIO platform and accurately enter study information into Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems while ensuring compliance with sponsor requirements, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Review source documents and patient visit information in the CRIO platform.
• Accurately enter study-related data into sponsor Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
• Verify entered information against source records for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify missing, inconsistent, or incomplete data and report discrepancies.
• Maintain data entry timelines according to study and sponsor requirements.
• Assist in resolving data queries and correcting records.
• Perform ongoing data quality review and cleanup activities.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), study protocols, and GCP guidelines.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and research data.
• Communicate with study coordinators, clinical teams, and project leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with U.S.-based clinical and regulatory teams.
• Communicate regulatory updates and document requests promptly.
• Support multiple clinical studies and research sites.
• Contribute to operational efficiency across research projects.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in data entry, administration, healthcare, or clinical research is preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of CRIO or other eSource platforms is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional work setup.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S.-based Clinical Research Organizations (CROs).
• Clinical research experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Understanding of clinical trial workflows.
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
