About the Internship

The Legal & Public Policy Internship provides interns with practical exposure to regulatory research, legal analysis, government affairs, and policy advocacy. Interns will closely support the public policy team by conducting legal research, preparing policy documents, tracking regulatory developments, and assisting with stakeholder engagement activities.

This internship offers valuable experience for students planning careers in law firms, policy think tanks, corporate legal departments, compliance teams, regulatory authorities, or government organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on gaming laws, technology regulations, and public policy developments.
  • Study case laws, including the PROG Act, Information Technology Rules, and State Gaming Policies.
  • Prepare policy briefs, research notes, legal memoranda, reports, and internal documentation.
  • Support preparation of external policy submissions.
  • Coordinate discussions with regulators, industry stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Manage follow-ups to ensure timely communication and project progress.
  • Attend policy consultations and meetings.
  • Prepare meeting summaries and maintain action trackers.
