What is TS LPCET?

The Lateral Entry into Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (LPCET) is organized by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad, targeting ITI qualified individuals aiming for entry into the second year of Diploma Courses. These courses are available across a variety of institutions, including Government, Government-Aided, and Private Un-Aided Polytechnics, as well as in second shift Polytechnics that operate within Private Un-Aided Engineering Colleges throughout Telangana State.

Successful candidates of the LPCET will be assigned a rank, which then enables them to select from the Diploma Courses available at Polytechnics under the SBTET, TS.

For those interested in pursuing Engineering Diploma courses at these Polytechnics, no separate admission form will be required. The completed LPCET-2024 application will also serve as the admission application for the courses offered at these Polytechnics.

• Starting Date for Sale of Application: 18-03-2024
• TS LPCET 2024 application last date without fine: 16-04-2024 up to 05:00 pm
• TS LPCET 2024 application last date with late fee Rs. 100/-: 18-04-2024 up to 05:00 pm
• Last Date for submission of Applications: 20-04-2024 up to 05:00 pm
• TS LPCET 2024 Exam Date: 20-05-2024

Application Process for LPCET-2024

a) Interested candidates need to visit the official website to download the application form. Once filled, the form should be submitted with the necessary application fee via a Demand Draft (DD) payable to “SECRETARY, SBTET, TS, Hyderabad” and sent to The Principal, Govt. Polytechnic, Masab Tank, Hyderabad.

b) The application fee is set at Rs.500/- for candidates from the OC category and Rs.300/- for candidates from the SC/ST categories. The fee must be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favor of “SECRETARY, SBTET, TS, Hyderabad.”
